    ....Mastic Reserve and Trail on Grand Cayman protects part of the
      largest contiguous area of untouched, old growth woodland remaining on the island. A rich abundance of bird inhabit these woodlands too. Many are tame enough to allow a close approach. Cayman's native Parrot is at home in the Reserve, as is the West Indian Woodpecker and the Caribbean Dove - which is only ever seen in undisturbed areas.

    ....Brac Parrot Reserve - protects the nesting areaof the endemic, 
      endangered Cayman Brac parrot, Amazona leucocephala hesterna. The latest census estimates about 400 of these lovely, iridescent emerald green parrots on the Brac.

      Cayman's latest attraction especially for nature lovers ... Cardinal D's Park. Over four acres of natural lakes and woodland comprise this unique bird sanctuary with parrots, parakeets, macaws, toucan, cockatoos and a host of other tropical birds. Sharing this natural habitat are also iguanas including Caymans blue and brown variety, whistling ducks, emus, peacocks and turtles.
