Wildlife Habitat Conservation Stamps - Canada

Beginning in 1985, the Migratory Bird Regulations have required that the current habitat conservation stamp be purchased and affixed to a hunting licence before hunting. One stamp design is issued each year in a booklet format consisting of a single pane of one stamp. Unsold stamps, and licences bearing stamps are destroyed each year by Canada Post and the Canadian Wildlife Service. ...
