Learn to sculpt a toy riding pony using
pre-measured polymer clay. The body is flocked for authenticity and a mohair
mane and tail are added to make your creation look almost real. A few finishing
touches and ... you are ready to ride.
This class is beginner friendly. Just remember to bring along your patience and your sense of humour. Length of workshop - one day (in two four hour sessions, one on each day). The length of the sessions may vary based on the level of expertise of the individuals taking the class. My intent is that everyone will go home with a completely finished project. I know for myself that when I take something home unfinished that it often stays that way. Cost of the workshop: $65. Supplies needed: 1 fine paintbrush, Aleene's glue, scissors, tweezers, X-Acto knife. All else if provided. Maximum number is 15. The workshop will also include a box very similar to the one that the pony would have been packed in. The inside will have a temporary lining so that the project will make a safe trip home.
